Together Through Pain provides peer-led support to individuals affected by chronic pain and chronic illness through storytelling, group connection, and lived experience. We create community-driven spaces that prioritize empathy, inclusivity, and understanding, helping people feel less alone one conversation at a time.
Meet the Founder
Aidan Ang
Aidan is the Founder of Together Through Pain. She was diagnosed with Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) after a sports injury in her teens turned into something much bigger than anyone expected. Since then, she has undergone 11 surgeries, some related and others not, including two spinal cord stimulator implants. She continues to navigate life with a body that doesn’t always cooperate.
Living with chronic pain from a young age shaped not only how Aidan sees the world, but how she connects with others who feel isolated, misunderstood, or overlooked by the healthcare system.
Aidan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a certificate in Health Sciences. She combines personal insight with academic knowledge to create a space that is real, honest, and grounded in empathy. Her goal is simple: to make sure no one has to go through this alone.
What we believe. Who we’re here for. How we show up.

We’re a not-for-profit peer support network for people living with chronic pain, chronic illness, and their caregivers/supporters.
Our focus is on emotional connection, community, and reducing isolation through honest, human conversations rooted in lived experience.
We’re here to build connections, not offer treatment or professional advice.
We do this by:
Facilitating in-person and virtual peer support groups
Sharing real stories and experiences
Creating a space built on empathy, honesty, and support
