Our Purpose

At its core, Together Through Pain is focused on helping people living with chronic pain, chronic illness, and disability feel seen, understood, represented, and less alone. We exist to create spaces where lived experience is acknowledged, shared, and validated, and where people do not have to explain or justify what they are going through in order to be believed.

Meet the Founder

Aidan Ang

Aidan is the Founder of Together Through Pain. She was diagnosed with Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) after a sports injury in her teens turned into something much bigger than anyone expected. Since then, she has undergone 11 surgeries, some related and others not, including two spinal cord stimulator implants. She continues to navigate life with a body that doesn’t always cooperate.

Living with chronic pain from a young age shaped not only how Aidan sees the world, but how she connects with others who feel isolated, misunderstood, or overlooked by the healthcare system.

Aidan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a certificate in Health Sciences. She combines personal insight with academic knowledge to create a space that is real, honest, and grounded in empathy. Her goal is simple: to make sure no one has to go through this alone.

What we believe. Who we’re here for. How we show up.

How You Engage With TTP

Together Through Pain is a digital advocacy and storytelling platform rooted in lived experience. Connection does not rely on scheduled participation or structured meetings, but instead happens through ongoing, accessible, and low-pressure engagement.

Storytelling and Lived Experience

We share and amplify lived experience through personal stories, reflections, and community-submitted narratives that highlight what life with chronic pain, chronic illness, and disability can look like.

Education and Advocacy

Community Contributions

We engage in conversations around chronic illness, disability, and healthcare through awareness content, advocacy-based discussions, and educational posts that challenge stigma and misunderstanding.

Community Contributions

Community Contributions

Individuals can contribute through written submissions, shared experiences, or reflections that help build visibility and representation for those often unheard.

Digital Engagement

Connection happens through ongoing interaction on social platforms, where stories, conversations, and awareness content create an accessible space for participation without pressure or expectation.
